On the afternoon of May 8, the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University held the final defense of the school-level Education and Teaching Research Fund project, including chemistry, Chinese, mathematics, general technology, biology and other disciplines, 11 topics participated in the defense。The school hired Professor Li Yue from the School of Continuing Education of Tsinghua University, Professor Li Manli and Professor Ye Fugui from the Institute of Education of Tsinghua University to form a panel of judges, and Vice President Xu Wenbing from the High School attached to Tsinghua University presided over the closing defense activity。

The person in charge of 11 subjects introduced and reported the subjects of the group, including the research background, theoretical basis, research significance and other contents, focusing on the research content, research process and research conclusions。The judges commented on each teacher's final report and the on-site report respectively。Experts pointed out that the subject of Tsinghua High School is in line with the characteristics of the education and teaching of Tsinghua High School, fully takes into account the development characteristics of students, and has a good guidance for improving education and teaching。

At the same time, experts also pointed out that it is hoped that teachers will pay more attention to the rigor of scientific research in the process of scientific research, and further standardize and detail the research report and research summary。It is suggested that each subject can refine and summarize the research results, in order to have a greater influence and guidance on improving education and teaching。

The Education and Teaching Research Fund of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University is established by the school to support the research work in the aspects of in-school education, teaching and service, focusing on the construction of in-school teaching and research groups, the professional growth and development of teachers, and the construction of school-based curriculum under the new curriculum reform concept。Last year, the school further standardized and clarified the management and use methods of the education and teaching research fund, and formed specific management methods, hoping to further stimulate the enthusiasm of the faculty and staff for scientific research, standardize the process of subject research and the use of funds。
